5 mile Barnes circular-rock 'n' roll, Thames Path & Barnes Common
Join Walking Class Hero Des Garrahan on a FREE 5 miles circular walk in and around Barnes with plenty of music references, lots of Thames Path & a visit to Barnes Old Cemetery

Wednesday 14th May 11:00 - 14:30
Location: Barnes Station
Join Des for a 5 mile circular walk in and around Barnes. We’ll discover plenty of musical connections, discuss the founder of modern football, stroll along the Thames Path, journey down the Barnes Trail, hear about the Putney Debates, and, as if by magic, Mr Benn makes a brief appearance.
We’ll have a brief break for drinks and a snack on the way round but this walk won’t have a lunch break.
About festival week events
We will be hosting a run of festival weeks and events curated by our partners big and small. Each week will see workshops, talks, walks, and cultural activities taking place in and around our pop-up Visitors Centre at 80 Mortimer Street.
