Spa Fields

91 Skinner St, London EC1R 0WX, UK
Originating with ‘The London Spaw’, a 17th-century public house possessing its own medicinal spring, Spa Fields became an 18th-century pleasure garden and an overcrowded, noxious 19th-century burial ground. Today it’s a much-loved sunny spot for working out and chilling out. If you visit in the summer be sure to slow down and smell the roses. This was the first bee hotel to record nesting bees after being installed in 2026 with large-headed reason bees capping narrower cardboard tubes. Monitored by Pollinating London Together
