The grassroots festival promoting greening and growing across London.
Back for its fourth edition the festival aims to showcase the many ways London is leading on urban agriculture, food security and sustainability. Last year saw the festival boasts more than 30 workshops, presentations and other events with the line up including everything from mushroom growing – tapping into festival founder Sal Chebbah’s background in mushroom education and conservation – to tours of working community kitchen gardens, guided nature walks and everything in between. As in 2024, the event schedule will be hosted on our online community platform, while several events will also be held at our Visitor Centre.
We will be hosting a run of festival weeks and events curated by our partners big and small. Each week will see workshops, talks, walks, and cultural activities taking place in and around our pop-up Visitors Centre at 80 Mortimer Street.

What made this festival so special wasn’t just the storytelling — it was the gathering. Filmmakers, campaigners, walkers, foragers, gardeners, policy-shapers and pavement-crack gazers all under one roof, sipping foraged tea and vegan curry, sharing questions and possibilities.
