The collaborative repair and reuse festival helping divert your pre-loved items from landfill.

Date: 3rd - 9th March 2025

In Association with: 8th March - International Women's Day

Channelling the ‘make do and mend’ spirit of WWII Britain, Repair Week is the brainchild of Re: London and champions repair and reuse of everyday items – from clothing to electrical goods – to help reduce waste and minimise our impact on the planet. Our upcycling working group (with Ranger Elly Platt at the helm) together with our friends Re-Action Collective will be hosting a repair cafe on the lower ground floor of our Mortimer Street Visitor Centre every day during Repair Week. The emphasis is on co-repairing with volunteers, so that attendees can confidently master the skills needed to carry out minor repairs for themselves.

About festival week events

We will be hosting a run of festival weeks and events curated by our partners big and small. Each week will see workshops, talks, walks, and cultural activities taking place in and around our pop-up Visitors Centre at 80 Mortimer Street.
