Guided linear walk from Peckham Rye to Crystal Palace
FREE guided linear walk with Walking Class Hero Des Garrahan from Peckham Rye to Crystal Palace-8 miles, 3 hills

Saturday, May 3 - 11am - 4pm
Where London’s newest route, the Green Link Walk, ends this walk begins. Using David Fathers’s excellent new book, Green London, we explore the surprisingly green 8 miles from Peckham Rye to Crystal Palace. There are spectacular views, the site of a Pissaro painting and, of course, dinosaurs.
We’ll pause for refreshments en route and I’ll be visiting a local pub for a post walk drink and all who fancy it are welcome to join me.
About festival week events
We will be hosting a run of festival weeks and events curated by our partners big and small. Each week will see workshops, talks, walks, and cultural activities taking place in and around our pop-up Visitors Centre at 80 Mortimer Street.
