How do you obtain my consent?

When you provide us with personal information to register on our site, send us an email that requires a response, or participate in a survey where you provide us with your email address, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.

Information We Collect

User-Provided Information: You provide us with information about yourself, such as your name and email address, if you register for one of our email newsletters.

If you correspond with us by email or social media, we may retain the content of your messages, your address and our responses. We may also retain any messages you send through or information in user content you post to nationalparkcity.london, nationalparkcity.org, and community.nationalparkcity.org, and other sites we may create from time to time.

If you register for, and/or attend one of our events, you will provide us information such as your name and email address.

Third Party Services

National Park City uses WordPress and Might Networks to host its websites. When you visit nationalparkcity.london or nationalparkcity.org, they may send one or more cookies – a small text file containing a string of alphanumeric characters – to your computer that uniquely identifies your browser and lets the web platform help you log in faster and enhance your navigation through nationalparkcity.london or nationalparkcity.org.

National Park City uses Google Analytics to help understand use of nationalparkcity.london and nationalparkcity.org. How We Use Your Information

We use the personal information you submit to operate, maintain, and provide to you the features and functionality of nationalparkcity.london and nationalparkcity.org.

By providing National Park City with your email address , you consent to us using the email address to send you messages, such as newsletters, National Park City events and changes to features of nationalparkcity.london, or other information. National Park City may share your personally identifiable information with trusted third parties for the purpose of providing our services to you (for example, we use ConvertKit, Monday.com and Mighty Networks to distribute communications). If we do this, such third parties’ use of your information will be bound by this Privacy Policy.

We may store personal information in locations outside the direct control of National Park City (for instance, on servers or databases co-located with hosting providers such as Google).

Any personal information or content that you voluntarily disclose for posting to nationalparkcity.london or nationalparkcity.org, such as user content, becomes available to the public, as controlled by any applicable privacy or website customisation settings.

If you remove information that you posted to nationalparkcity.london or nationalparkcity.org, copies may remain viewable in cached and archived pages, or if other users have copied or saved that information.

In the event that personal information is compromised as a result of a breach of security, National Park City will promptly notify those persons whose personal information has been compromised, in accordance with the notification procedures set forth in this Privacy Policy, or as otherwise required by applicable law.

Your Rights

You may, of course, decline to submit personally identifiable information through nationalparkcity.london and nationalparkcity.org, in which case National Park City may not be able to provide certain services to you.

If at any point you believe the information we process on you is incorrect you can request to see this information and have it corrected or deleted. Protecting the privacy of young children is especially important. For that reason, National Park City does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 13 or knowingly allow such persons to register for nationalparkcity.london emails.
