We are located in Clitterhouse Playing Fields, a neglected but much-loved public park in North West London, where access to safe, high-quality green space is limited for many local residents. Our free-to-access green areas are essential for community connection, environmental learning, and individual wellbeing. We’ve seen first-hand how they bring people together, enhance biodiversity, and improve both physical and mental health.
We are seeking funding to radically redesign and replant our existing flower beds and herb garden. Our goal is to create a more climate-resilient, sustainable landscape using a greater variety of drought-tolerant annuals and perennials, such as poppies, salvias, and ornamental grasses. These plants are not only better suited to the changing climate but will also provide vibrant colour, structure, and vital resources for pollinators.
