The Project is a partnership between St James Church, East Barnet Valley Bowls Club (EBVBC) and the London Borough of Barnet from whom the space is “adopted”. It is transforming the area surrounding EBVBC which was largely neglected and underdeveloped containing overgrown beds, into a community garden where vegetables and flowers are grown and where community members can either volunteer to work on the garden or visit and merely “be”. The garden is devoted to wildlife and is co-ordinated and run by local volunteers.

Jims Shed@EBVBC. Community Garden, Tue 10am-1pm, weekly at East Barnet Valley Bowls Club. Run by St James and the Bowls Club. All are welcome – to help with the gardening, or to come in and relax.
