Our Green Stories is a creative community gathering hosted by Moja Collective that explores how people from the global majority (POC/BIPOC) connect with nature in the UK. The event brings together participants aged 18+ to reflect on ancestral knowledge, personal experiences, and cultural relationships with land through storytelling, discussion, and creative activities such as collage, poetry, and short stories.

Facilitated by Sherifat, the gathering creates a welcoming space for people from the global majority, including LGBTQ+, trans, and all gender identities, to share perspectives and reconnect with nature. Participants are invited to bring stories, images, objects, or folktales that represent their relationship with the natural world, both from their countries of origin and their lives in the UK.

Through collective reflection and creativity, the project encourages participants to imagine hopeful, regenerative environmental futures while centring voices often underrepresented in conversations about nature and the outdoors.
