Local schools face tight budgets and rising behavioural challenges amongst their students.

One way to address this is by creating green spaces enabling them to be outside more and absorbing the benefits of nature, and an empty and rundown section of the school’s playground was perfect for this. This project transformed this area into a creative and inspiring space for the children as well as a centre piece to potential parents and visitors.

There are multiple raised beds, made out of recycled products or wood and planted with sensory rich plants and trees, seating zones to allow small group conversations or just time to sit, and a forest school area with boulders and the option for den building or nature crafts.
