Thanks to the grant, Newport Nature Squad has been able to buy extra tools and seeds, which we are putting to use this autumn in the school garden at Newport Primary School in Leyton.

The garden has become a hub for the local community, attracting parents and other volunteers, and the additional resources have helped our group grow into a consistent and dedicated team. We’re excited for our first spring season and look forward to seeing both the garden and our volunteer community continue to flourish.
