With support of the grant, this project hosted the first community bench making workshop with Rewild the Ends
We used preindustrial green woodwork techniques, which showed our strength, teamwork and the beautiful patterns nature produces.
We also used community mapping to explore what invites us in, what our ends need and ways to recharge in the city.
This was truly such a labour of love, thank you to all the participants supporters and partners who made this possible! I hope to do this again with more resources, organisers and space to work: this was only 2 hours yet so generative. Further funding would enable work to go further.
