This project enables people to start their own fruit harvesting groups - the grant helps with purchasing start up materials including the telescopic pole, tarpaulin and rucksack.

Currently there are approximately seven fruit harvesting groups in London. Three large groups in Chiswick; Kensal to Kilburn and Wimbledon between them harvested over 7 tonnes this season and involved up to 200 people.

With LNPC the aim is to find people to start and lead about 3 new community fruit harvesting groups, or encourage community groups to add fruit harvesting to their existing activities.
