Wild South London brought together 375 people for a vibrant community event at Beckenham Place Park, celebrating local biodiversity through drop-in activities, nature crafts, and seasonal storytelling. Highlights included a butterfly walk spotting 14 species, zine-making and educational sessions on insect habitats, interactive caterpillar displays from Butterfly Conservation, and foraged herb smoke stick workshops.

Visitors also enjoyed leaf-printing with Happy Wild Ones Forest School, contributed to a communal Midsummer sun weaving, and shared their Solstice wishes – connecting all ages and walks of life to nature through creativity and learning.
