For the past three years we’ve been partnering with Right Thing Media, social impact advertising specialists who use their innovative approach to media buying to directly support good causes such as ourselves.

They’re a BCorp for-profit business that empowers brands to deliver on their corporate social and environmental responsibilities through advertising.

They do this by redirecting ad budgets to generate meaningful, tangible environmental and social-economic impacts. In short, their advertising campaigns champion charities as well as the brands who support them, and the campaigns can perform better as a result. This means that brands can redirect a portion of their ad budgets to good causes without having to spend more on their advertising, and with minimal input required from the charity recipients.

Since London National Park City have been partnering with Right Thing Media, through the funding they provide we’ve been able to directly support dozens of Ranger led community projects across London supporting our aims to make our city greener, healthier and wilder.

In doing so Right Thing Media have supported their clients and brands to fulfil their corporate social responsibilities; which have included campaigns and brand support from Heineken through their Inch’s Cider campaign and Timberland.

Funding for Ranger Projects

Ranger projects that have been supported include urban greening, tree planting, volunteer and community training, meadow creation, community events, pilot research projects and more.

We’re keen to extend this model to more businesses in London and we can work with you to directly fund community projects within our volunteer Rangers community providing valuable support to local communities, volunteering opportunities for staff members and knowledge that the funding is being used by the community for the community.

Not only that, if you’re a business with an advertising budget then we can offer great opportunities to support the work of the National Park City by working with Right Thing Media to complement your current media activity. We think that’s known as a win-win.
