Beautify Balham

A community driven initiative that endeavours to improve the aesthetics and biodiversity of Balham. Striving for a greener, cleaner and more beautiful Balham.

Ways That You Can Volunteer

Beautify Balham offers several volunteering opportunities.
We litter pick once a month for 1 hour, on the first Saturday of that month, and meet at 11am on Bedford Hill Place in Balham. Litter pickers, gloves, bags and hoops are all provided, you just need to turn up in comfortable clothing and footwear. It’s a wonderful opportunity to meet with local like minded residents of Balham and actively participate in clearing the streets of rubbish.
There are also opportunities to plant on community plots around Balham. These tend to occur in the autumn and are advertised via our mailing list. Please get in touch with us should you be interested in getting involved. In both cases everyone is welcome.
