At Energy Garden, part of our mission is to create vibrant and sustainable green spaces that enrich both the environment and the community. Our horticultural strategy is a blueprint for working with communities to guide the cultivation, management and development of a diverse portfolio of gardens on London’s railways. This plan encompasses a range of initiatives that promote biodiversity, enhance soil quality, and create functional and beautiful spaces for everyone to enjoy.

Join us at Brockley and help us to beautify the station. There are plenty of garden tasks to help with and you don’t need any prior experience and tools will be provided! Tasks involve maintenance of the garden; weeding, planting, watering, composting green waste, and harvesting produce. There are days where groups come together to litter pick, install new planters, and build hedgehog houses. There is annual hop picking, and harvesting produce for the October Harvest Party. We have some volunteers that aid us in outreach to local schools and community groups, others that give their time to taking produce to food banks. Tasks are flexible and varied.
