Sustainable Merton

As Merton’s local environmental charity, we aim to inspire, mobilise and enable our community to take action on climate change and protect our environment for future generations.

Sustainability and wellbeing go hand in hand, so our projects address both environmental and social goals, such as addressing the cost of living crisis and strengthening community connections. We believe that a happier, healthier, more connected community is one that will have the greatest impact.

Ways That You Can Volunteer

Sustainable Merton’s work is supported by its team of over 200 volunteers – local people who want to make difference in their community and improve sustainability in Merton.

We welcome volunteers from all backgrounds and are proud of the diversity within our current volunteer team. We strive to be an inclusive organisation and will continue to improve our outreach to ensure that everyone has an opportunity to bring their skills, knowledge, passion and desire to help others to our team.
