Wild Green E13

A community garden in South Plaistow in the borough of Newham. Site has been agreed upon and the garden committee are currently trying to move forward with when and how the garden can take shape, involving the local community.

Ways That You Can Volunteer

Various opportunities available. We are a volunteer community group established in 2019, that set up and manage a community garden within a disused corner of a Plaistow park.
We have the aims to be a garden inclusive for all, with a low carbon footprint, and work towards a biodiversity. We have got a number of Grants over the years and have now many features in the wild Green E13 such as a bug hotel, a tiny free library, 2 benches and 2 picnic tables, a shipping container, a wild meadow, orchard, and 100 meters of boarders, 9 raised beds.
We ran weekly garden and a cuppa sessions, and we do events such as outdoor cinema, coronation party, harvest festival and so on.
