A varied walk across parks, commons, and royal green spaces, offering great views and quiet nature escapes in West London.

Starting Point: Wimbledon Park Station
Length: 7.3 miles (11.7 km)
Time: 3–4 hours

This scenic Capital Ring section begins at Wimbledon Park and heads through Wimbledon Common and Richmond Park before finishing in Richmond. Expect steep sections, rough tracks, and open green spaces.

Pubs, cafés, and toilets are found at regular intervals including the Windmill Tearooms and Pen Ponds Café. Look out for Capital Ring markers or follow via the Go Jauntly app. There are optional breakpoints near main roads and an alternative finish at Richmond Bridge.
